Housed at the crossroads of our beautiful Bastides, you will discover remarkable landscapes, real cultural treasures, but also the various flavors of a great terroir:
the thousand and one wonders that make up the rich heritage of our Rouergue.
Bright, peaceful and warm, Fleur de Tilleul can accommodate 6 to 8 people and up to 3 young children (under 5 years old).
Located in Saint-Grat, a small village in Aveyron, it is surrounded by trees and flowers.
In the countryside, it offers an environment conducive to calm and relaxation, thus ensuring a stay that is both pleasant and restful.
Due to its location, you will be privileged for many visits to magnificent sites in Rouergue (on Aveyron and Tarn et Garonne), but also for traveling to Quercy and discovering must-see places.
Located at the crossroads of three of the main and beautiful Bastides of Rouergue (Villefranche, Najac and Villeneuve d'Aveyron), each will offer you a range of activities, visits and festivities as varied as they are fascinating.
From the cottage, you can hike and discover flora and fauna, but also the charms of our countryside: dovecotes, caselles, fountains, washhouses, ... or even dolmens, impressive vestiges of prehistory. While splendid churches and chapels will also capture your attention (the Chapel of the Black Penitents in Villefranche, or those of St Fiacre, Notre Dame du Buenne or Mirabel, more modest and to be discovered in the countryside ... ).
The setting and its environment will allow you to rub shoulders with Mother Nature, she will then offer you all her colors.

Two leisure centers are near Fleur de Tilleul (the Lac aux Oiseaux in Bannac (Martiel) and the Lac de Parisot). Each with a lake, they will satisfy young and old in summer and allow everyone to breathe fresh air, out of season.
So close by, two "open-air" spaces for strolling, lingering at the water's edge, strolling on the lake in a pedal boat, playing, swimming, eating and having a refreshment (drink or ice cream), or even sin .... and always enjoy the calm and the sun!

Close to the village, the beautiful Loc Dieu site. In an immense park, you can admire the Cistercian Abbey and the splendid castle enthroned at the foot of a lake. This place steeped in history, in a green setting, will also seduce you with its serenity.
Note a few kilometers away, the Cistercian Abbey of Beaulieu-en-Rouergue. A peaceful and unspoiled site which hosts a Contemporary Art Center.
Fleur de Tilleul will give you the advantage of easily reaching the gates of Quercy, and enjoying picturesque sites such as St Cirq-Lapopie (village and river), Pech-Merle (caves in Cabrerets), among others ...
Likewise, several villages classified among the most beautiful in France will be easily reached. The closest: Najac, St Antonin-Noble-Val, Belcastel and St Cirq-Lapopie, while Bruniquel, Cordes-sur-Ciel and even Conques, remain accessible at medium distance.
Always around, magnificent castles will open their doors to you. Each will tell you their story and take you on a superb journey through time. Such as the one in nearby Loc Dieu, or those in St Projet, Bournazel (and its splendid gardens), Cénevières and many others ...
Finally, housed both near Najac and St Antonin-Noble-Val, it is according to your desires (by hiking, mountain biking, canoeing or paragliding, ...) that you will enjoy discovering the beautiful gorges of the Aveyron, soaking up a beautiful and wild nature.
Rodez airport can be reached in around 50 minutes. To reach Toulouse (31) or Brive (19), you will need to drive approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.
A few minutes from the gîte, points of sale can provide you with fresh products (as in Mémer or Villefranche, ...), while restaurants will guarantee you a good table (in Mémer, Parisot, Villefranche, ...).
Good addresses will be indicated to you, in order to taste the Aveyron specialties (like the aligot, farçous, cabecous, gâteau à la broche, fouace,...).
Without forgetting the markets in which the producers of the country take part, which will allow you to appreciate our excellent local products and some of these diverse and tasty specialties.
Among other things, note the Mémer market (4 kms away), every Wednesday morning, on the church square.
